Sink or Swim?

I'm speaking from my own account because I can only talk about what goes on with me.

"I'm A Believer" [Tedashii ft. Trip Lee], it's a song that I've heard quite often, but it wasn't until recently that I really begin to take this one verse to heart.

In his verse, Trip Lee says "we aren't perfect at all no, we recognize this life's hard, the difference is instead of drowning, we trust the lifeguard."

It may sound extremely elementary to you, but man, it's so profound to me. Often times we take on the [ridiculous] task of trying to do things on our own, then we find ourselves caught in the rip tide of stress, headache, tears, and God knows what else. All we have to do is just trust God and leave the rest up to Him. I'm currently in a situation that is pretty stressful, but that one verse really reminded me not to kill, or drown myself in the task of trying to figure things out on my own. Trust in God man, He knows what's best. Even when we don't feel Him near, He has a plan and He already has the result figured out.
